Tanzania’s once vast herds of elephants are vanishing. Illegal ivory trafficking to China and conflicts between more and more farmers and roaming elephants decimate their numbers.
Growing organic Trinitario cacao in the villages adjacent to the Park effectively helps to provide secure incomes and education. This reduces the pressure for poaching. In addition, our customers have funded beehive fences which get constructed to keep the elephants out of farmers’ fields.
ALL THIS IS POSSIBLE THANKS TO YOUR PURCHASE!
